Speight's Pride of Your Castle Personalised Speight’s BBQ Promotion– Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  2. To enter:
    1. purchase any marked promotional pack of Speight’s Gold Medal Ale 12, 18 or 24 bottles, Speight’s Distinction 12 bottles, Speight’s Old Dark 12 bottles or Speight’s Traverse 12 bottles;
    2. simply fill in the entry form on the base of the pack for the Personalised Speight’s BBQ Promotion and send the completed entry form to Pride of Your Castle, Private Bag 251 494, Pakuranga 2140, Auckland.
  3. Each completed entry form submitted equals one entry in the promotion. A person may submit multiple entries to win the personalised Speight’s prizes during the Promotion Period.
  4. The Personalised Speight’s BBQ Promotion commences on 01/11/2010 and closes on 30/4/2011 (“Promotion Period”). No entries will be accepted after this time.
  5. There are 50 personalised Speight’s BBQ packages, 500 personalised Speight’s BBQ covers, 500 Speight’s Southern Man Cookbooks, 2500 Speight’s handles and 2500 personalised Speight’s stubby holders to be won in total.
  6. Each month during the Promotion Period a prize draw will take place for the following items: 10 personalised Speight’s BBQ packages, 100 personalised Speight’s BBQ covers, 100 Speight’s Southern Man Cookbooks, 500 handles and 500 personalised Speight’s stubby holders.
  7. The prizes are valued as indicated below:
    • Personalised Speight’s BBQ - 50 to be won, retail value $2,500 per unit;
    • Personalised Speight’s BBQ covers - 500 to be won, retail value $51 per unit;
    • Speight’s Southern Man Cookbook- 500 to be won, retail value $45 per unit;
    • Speight’s handle - 2,500 to be won, retail value $5.75 per unit;
    • Personalised Speight’s stubby holders- 2,500 to be won, retail value $5 per unit.
  8. The winning entries will be the first 1,210 valid entries randomly drawn during each prize draw. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, or tampered with in any way.
  9. The 5 monthly prize draw dates are 15/12/10, 17/01/11, 15/02/11, 15/03/11 and 05/05/11. All prizes not claimed by 30/04/11 will go back into the prize pool for a second chance draw which will take place on 05/05/11.
  10. Winners can redeem their prize via an online promotion page “Redeem your Castle Loot” at www.speights.co.nz and filling in their details. If the winner has won a personalised prize, they will then be required to enter the name they would like to have on their personalised prize and a delivery address, such personalised prizes to be created in conjunction with and under the supervision of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to approve all Speight’s Personalised Prizes created and may refuse to award any Speight’s Personalised Prizes to any winners where such prizes are or may be (in the Promoter’s sole discretion) offensive, inflammatory, rude or where such prizes (or the use of them) may damage any of the Promoter’s brands, reputation or relationships or the prizes are generally not (or may be considered not to be) appropriate by the Promoter. Following each winner personalising their prize (if applicable) in accordance with these terms and conditions and the Promoter’s approval, the prize will then be couriered out to the winners delivery address within 4-8 weeks from the relevant draw date depending on the nature of the prize and the amount of personalisation required.
  11. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The Promoter and its related bodies corporate, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotion or any prize.
  12. The winners will be notified by email within 10 working days of each of the relevant prize draw and are deemed to consent to receiving such a response.
  13. Details collected will only be used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing or conducting the promotion) and for publicity purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the use of their information as described. All entries will be destroyed after promotion.

Speight’s Personalised Bee Labels Promotion – Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  2. To enter:
    1. purchase any marked promotional pack of Speight’s Gold Medal Ale 12, 18 or 24 bottles, Speight’s Distinction 12 bottles, Speight’s Old Dark 12 bottles and Speight’s Traverse 12 bottles;
    2. simply fill in the entry form on the base of the pack for the Personalised Speight’s Labels Promotion;
    3. collect 4 barcodes from any of the Speight’s promotional packs listed in clause 2(a); and
    4. send the completed entry form (together with the 4 barcodes referred to in paragraph (c) above) to My Speight’s, PO Box 251 496, Pakuranga 2140, Auckland.
  3. Each completed entry form submitted equals one entry in the promotion. A person may submit multiple entries to win the personalised Speight’s Beer Labels during the promotion.
  4. Promotion commences 01/11/10 and closes on 30/04/11. No entries will be accepted after this time.
  5. The Speight’s Personalised Beer Label prizes will be awarded to the first 5000 valid entries received. Where more than 5000 valid entries are received, there will be a 2nd chance draw on 05/05/11 where a maximum of 1000 further prizes of 12 Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels may be won. Winners will be notified by email within 1 month of the date the Promoter receives each block of 250 valid entries for the first 5000 entries and 10 working days after the 2nd chance draw on 05/05/11. Winners are deemed to consent to receiving such a response. The winners will be given the opportunity to create their own Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels via an online promotion page “Redeem Your Loot” at www.speights.co.nz, such labels to be created in conjunction with and under the supervision of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to approve all Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels created and may refuse to award any Beer Labels to any winners where such labels are or may be (in the Promoter’s sole discretion) offensive, inflammatory, rude or where such labels (or the use of them) may damage any of the Promoter’s brands, reputation or relationships or the Beer Labels are generally not (or may be considered not to be) appropriate by the Promoter. Following each winner personalising their set of 12 Beer Labels in accordance with these terms and conditions and the Promoter’s approval, the set of 12 Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels will be 4-8 weeks from the relevant draw date depending on the amount of personalisation required on the beer label.
  6. The winners acknowledge and agree not to use the Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels in any way whatsoever which may bring the Promoter’s brands into disrepute or which may have a detrimental or negative impact on the Promoter, its business or any of its brands. Where any winner receives notice from the Promoter to stop using the Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels because such use is in breach of this clause, the winner will immediately cease such behaviour and return the Beer Labels to the Promoter.
  7. The winners acknowledge and agree that they will not use the Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels in any way that will mislead or deceive (or is likely to mislead or deceive) and does not breach any applicable law or industry code.
  8. The winners acknowledge and agree that they will not name the Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels or use the Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels in any way that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  9. The winners acknowledge and agree that they will not use the Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels in any manner involving (or in connection with) the sale or re-sale of any beverage or other product (consumable or otherwise).
  10. The winners acknowledge and agree that any and all existing or potential or future intellectual property rights (including without limitation, common law rights and interests, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyright, registered designs, symbols and logos) in the Speight’s Personalised Beer Labels shall vest in and be retained by the Promoter. The winners shall have no right whatsoever in such intellectual property rights.
  11. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Prizes will be sent by mail to the address indicated on the entry form. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, or tampered with in any way.

Speight’s Mates Super Rugby Series

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  2. To enter:

    2. Log in or register.
    3. Follow instructions to make picks.
  3. Only registered Speight's Mates members are eligible to enter the promotion.
  4. Each Speight's Mates member may enter once per week only.
  5. Promotion commences on 16/2/2011 and continues until 9/7/2011. No entries will be accepted after this time.
  6. Draws will take place weekly, on Mondays at 12pm midday, throughout the duration of the promotion. The cutoff date for each weekly draw is 5pm on the Friday before each draw. Entries received after this time will be applicable to the following week's picks.
  7. Correctly picking "home win", "away win" or "draw" for a match will constitute a valid entry in that week's draw.
  8. 20 winning entries will be drawn randomly from the pool of valid entries for each week.
  9. Each valid entry is eligible to win no more than one prize per week.
  10. Prizes will consist of 10 Speight's hoodies and 10 Pocket Vouchers redeemable for one 15-pack of Speight's GMA from Liquor King. The prizes will be allocated randomly to the 20 winners.
  11. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judge's decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into. In the event that a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  12. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind or any traffic congestion on the internet or any website. Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt into the competition database, not at the time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for, and the entrants release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property (including computer systems and servers) as a result of the participation of the entrant in this promotion or the conduct of this promotion generally.
  13. The winners will be notified by SMS and/or phone within two working days of each of the relevant prize draws and are deemed to consent to receiving such a response.
